My new years resolutions and some ideas for you

Hey everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and awesome new year. I can't believe how quick the years are going, it's actually quite scary, the years are flying by so fast and before we know it its Christmas and new year again.




As its new year, its time for all the new year, new me promises whether that's to lose some weight, be more active, start a new blog, be more productive at work or try and change the way we handle specific situations.  Most of the time we will try and stick to them and try our very best to succeed but if you're anything like me all these fabulous resolutions will be thrown out the window, and you'll forget everything you promised yourself.

However, this year is a bit different compared to all the others I now have this blog, which I really enjoy writing it helps me understand that im not alone dealing with my anxiety and depression and I love the fact that I can help people. Therefore with this list of resolutions below, I can remember precisely what I've promised myself, and a few random ideas for you, just in case you're struggling to come up with your own.

1. Make some time for me

Having anxiety means I'm constantly trying to please others and I do ignore my own thoughts and feelings because im constantly worried what people think of me. So this year, I've chosen to take some time for myself and have some much needed me time.

2. Lose some extra pounds

I do need to lose some weight, and I say this every single year I usually do well for about two months then I annoyingly give up, which is so irritating as soon as I start to notice a difference I begin to eat rubbish again. So this year Im going to try my hardest to shift some and carry on. 

3. Try to sleep more

I have terrible trouble sleeping at night because my phone is constantly in my hand and im either scrolling through Facebook or re-reading some old conversations and getting myself all worked up over nothing. So this year I'm going to try my best to put my phone away and try to empty my mind and get some much-needed rest. 

4. Declutter

My house is constantly cluttered, with stuff like old letters, old books, my son's old toys, magazines, everything I'm like some sort of hoarder. I have trouble getting rid of things which is why I've chosen to be more organized and less cluttered throughout the year. 

I could have thought of more, but I've decided to leave it to four for now because every year I set myself a lot and never stick to them, so I think four is more than enough.
